What is Messy Church?
Messy church is a way of being church for families and others. It is Christ-centred, for all ages, based on creativity, hospitality and celebration.
Messy Church meets on the second Sunday of the month at 4pm in St Mary’s Church, Fairford. We have a theme each time with craft activities followed by a Celebration in the church. We try to have at least one outside activity as well. After the Celebration we have a cooked meal in the Community Centre, which is just across the churchyard. We aim to finish by 6 pm. We don’t usually meet in August.
In the Parish Newsletter for Sunday 26th January 2025 there is a retirement notice for Messy Church.
